Off the right transept, to the right of the apse, is the Cappella Spada, dedicated to St Charles Borromeo. The plan of Camillo Arcucci was for three successive rooms, lavishly adorned, and was completed in 1679 with the sponsorship of the Marqius Orazio Spada and with the help of Carlo Rainaldi.
