It is elaborately decorated in polychrome marbles with ancient columns in green marble at the altar. The niches accommodate two statues by Flaminio Vacca of 1594. The altarpiece, representing the Coronation of the Virgin, was painted by the Cavalier d'Arpino, and completed in 1615.
