The altar is adorned with two porphyry columns. The altarpiece used to be a large well carved gilt crucifix, but has been replaced by a later painting, The Disposition from the Cross. Below the altar is a bronze urn with the remains of 18th century Jesuit St. Giuseppe Pignatelli.
