The work of Antonio da Sangallo the Young, completed in 1523.
It was commissioned by Cardinal Antonio Maria Ciocchi del Monte, in execution of the will of Cardinal Jaime Serra I Cau,
Archbishop of Arborea (Oristano), died in 1517, who is buried in the chapel.
