The present layout goes back to the 15th century rebuilding. The interior decoration of frescos is from the 16th and 19th centuries. New flooring and the marble covering the wainscoating and pillars are 19th century.

On the second pillar on the left is the fresco of Isaiah by Raphael from 1512. Below the fresco is Andrea Sansovino's statue of St Anne, the Virgin and Child.
