The church is in the middle of the west side of the Piazza Navona. Seen here is the fountain in the north end of the piazza, the Fountain of Nepture (1574) by Giacomo della Porta. On the north side of the church is the Palazzo Pamhpilj, built by Pope Innocent X, and now the Embassy of Brazil.
