The dome fresco depicts The Apotheosis of St Agnes into the Glory of Heaven, and is mostly by Ciro Ferri. However, he died in 1689 before finishing it and his pupil Sebastiano Corbellini compled the fresco. It contains a host of angels, saints and Old Testament characters centered on Our Lady welcoming Agnes.
