On the right wall is the monument of the unknown Judith de Palezieux Falconnet (died 1856 at the age of 16), with a white marble sculpture showing her lying on a sofa by Harriet Goddhue Hosmer, the first artwork by an American artist, male or female, permanently installed in a Roman Church.
