The chapel at the end of the left aisle was originally dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It was built in 1681 and redecorated in 1863 for Cardinal Giacomo Antonelli as the funerary chapel of the noble Antonelli family. The chapel was later rededicated to Saint Gaspar Louis Bertoni, who was the founder of the Congregationof the Sacred Stigmata of Our Lord Jesus Christ, know as the Stigmatines.
