The interior is decorated with more lush gilded stucco in the form of a Greek cross, with the ribs meeting at a wreath around the lantern oculus, and in the quadrants are four tondi with depictions of Blessed Sancha of Alenquer, Joanna of Portugal, Mafalda of Portugal and Teresa of Portugal.
