In the right transept. Andrew Avellino is the second most important Theatine saint after Cajetan, hence his place of honor. The altar was renewed by P. Pius IX in 1858. It has a pair of fluted Corinthian columns in red marble with gilded capitals, and is neo-Classical rather than Baroque in its design. However, it is still richly endowed with polychrome stonework.
