Against the left wall is the marble statue of Cardinal Marzio Ginetti, the founder of the chapel. Created by Alessandro Rondoni in late 17th century, the Cardinal is shown kneeling on a cushion in the act of praying. The statue measures approximately 1.60 X 1.75 m. Above the two columns are virtues: Charity and Hope, and in the lunette an angel, supporting the arms of the cardinal, announces the resurrection of the dead.
