Underneath the altar are enshrined the relics of one St Leontia, who is depicted as a wax figure dressed up and lying in a glass box. The label states "The body of St Leontia, martyr, name provided". This indicates that the individual was anonymous, having been exhumed from a catacomb. Her status as a matyr was, at best, a guess.
