The fresco panels on the north wall show The Beheading of St Agnes to the left, and St Nicholas Gives a Dowry to Three Poor Girls to the right. The tradition behind the latter scene is that the family of the girls was so poor that the girls had no clothes, which is why they are shown in bed.
