"To the young man endowed with a good nature,
adorned with purity of soul, modesty, and other virtues, Giovanni Faiella, who, struck by a fatal illness, was unable to be accepted among his fellow students. Since he wished to be buried where the bones of his grandfather rest, at the age of 17, he peacefully passed away on the 10th day before the Kalends of March (February 20), 1830. His grieving parents, as a token of love and sorrow, placed this monument for their most deserving and obedient son." |
