from Monte San Giusto in Piceno.
Excelling in the knowledge of both Canon and Civil Law,
distinguished in prudence and governance.
He passed away on the 7th Ides of November (November 7), 1867,
at the age of 78.

His brother, Count Paolo, along with his son Giovanni,
placed this (monument) for an esteemed man,
an honor to his family and country."
