who was born in Augsburg in the year 1811.
Living with Christian virtues,
especially shining in charity towards the poor,
he passed away in Rome in the Lord's embrace
on the 16th of February, 1847.
His brothers, Ernest and Alexander,
with tears, placed this monument for him."
