The dedication is to the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady, and the elliptical altarpiece, Immaculate Conception, by Maratta, is in a frame with fruits and flowers. It fits into the pendentive arch of the cupola, is supported by a pair of putti and has a backdrop of alabaster.
