The left hand narthex chapel is the Cappella Ottoboni, now the "Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament and Five Wounds of Christ". This takes its name from a parish Eucharistic confraternity that was organized in 1501. In the 1730’s Cardinal Pietro Ottoboni had it restored in order to locate his own tomb there.
