Here is a memorial to Clelia Severini, 1825, in the form of a neo-Classical carved relief. It was commissioned in 1822 by the Roman lawyer Giuseppe Severini for the death of his nineteen-year-old daughter. She is depicted as a young ancient Roman girl taking leave of her parents and pet dog. The work is by Pietro Tenerani, and the poet Giacomo Leopardi wrote a poem about it - Sopra un Bassorilievo Antico Sepolcrale.
