The seventh chapel on the left is dedicated to St Michael the Archangel. The current appearance of chapel, richly decorated with marble, stucco and paint for Cardinal Francesco Maria Mancini, who in 1660-72 entrusted the modernization to Carlo Rainaldi and Giovanni Battista Buonocore. The anonymous altarpiece showing the St. Michael conquering the Devil is from the 19th century.
