The small sanctuary has a triumphal arch. The barrel vault behind has frescoes of Angels with the Holy Spirit. The altar is approached by two marble steps. The aedicule has a pair of verde antico Corinthian columns supporting a triangular pediment. This has modillions, and the tympanum and frieze are in the same marble.
