The monument to Monsignor Clemente Merlini (1642) on the right, attribution to Giuseppe Peroni, of the school of Algardi. The memorial is entirely in red marble, except for the black marble epitaph tablet and the heraldry in the broken segmental pediment at the top. The four pilasters have skulls in place of capitals, and the bronze bust is in a wreathed tondo.
