The side walls of the sanctuary have monuments to Cardinal Girolamo Gastaldi, and his brother Benedetto Gastaldi. They were designed as a matching pair by Fontana, and are located over the sacristy doors and under a pair of cantoria. The busts of the deceased are bronze.
