In the left side of the transept are the monuments of Cardinal Stefaneschi (1417) and Cardinal d'Alençon (1397). Above the monuments is an organ donated by Cardinal Altemps at the end of the 16th century. It is richly frescoed and gilded, and is still in good working order.
