Behind the altar is a terracotta Pieta, Madonna della pieta e delle Grazie. On either side of the altar are two angels in wood sculptured by Ercole Ferrata. The angels inspired those of Ponte Sant'Angelo. Under the altar in an urn are held the relics of martyrs Sts. Basilides, Tripos, and Mandal.
