The vault fresco is by Antonio Bicchierai (1730). It depicts: The Presentation of the Child Jesus at the Temple. The moment is depicted when St Simeon the Elder holds the Christ-Child, and predicts that a sword would pierce Our Lady's soul. Note the Solomonic columns in the background.
