The lunette above the altar is largely taken up with two sections of the semi-circular broken pediment of the frame of the altarpiece and the narrow window between them. In the remaining space on either side of the window is a figure reclining on the pediment, attended by child angels. Painted on the alabaster window is the dove of the Holy Spirit set in a brilliant sky. Below is a dedicatory inscription.
