The third chapel on the right is the most sumptuous chapel in the church, erected in 1583 under the patronage of the Compagnia dei Pastori, as attested by the inscription on the fine wrought iron gate made between the late 1500s and early 1600s. Designed by Antonio Ferreri, and decorated by the Giovanni Baglione, the decorations, many and varied, giving the chapel a lively appearance, almost verging on the baroque. The dedication is to the Nativity.
