The memorial on the left wall below is the tomb of Bishop Alfonso de Paradinas (d. 1485), attributed to the workshop of Andrea Bregno. He was the Bishop of Ciudad Rodrigo, and is described in the epitaph as a helper of the poor and of the oppressed. He founded the Hospital of S. Giacomo degli Spagnuoli, in the Piazza Navona, in 1450.
