The tomb of Pope Urban VII is on the left wall of the chapel. He died after just tewlve days as Pope, and was buried in the chapel in 1606. According to his will, he bequeathed his entire estate to the Confraternity of Our Lady of the Annunciation to use as dowries for poor young girls.
