To the left of the sanctuary is the so-called vesibolo, which is a chamber leading to the church's back door and the Via di Fra Angelico. It used to be the Chapel of St Thomas Aquinas before being converted in 1600. There are three spectacular Baroque monuments here, as well as the tomb of Fra Angelico and some other earlier memorials.
