Through this chapel is a little room containing the sarcophagus tomb of the Venerable Aloysius Mary Chmel, a Slovak friar and student of theology at the convent who died of thyroid cancer in 1939, aged twenty. The triptych painting over the tomb, featuring The Resurrection between portraits of the deceased, is by Moreno Bondi who is a very interesting contemporary artist.
