Left aisle looking to the rear. To the left is the location of the well that legend alleges that the two holy sisters hid the corpses of three thousand martyrs, mopped up their spilt blood and poured what they had collected into the well. This is marked by a square porphyry slab in the floor. To the right, opposite the well, is the entrance to the Caetani Chapel.
