The Cappella del Crocefisso occupies the right hand end of the original transept and was created at the end of the 13th century. Back then, it was dedicated to All Saints but was re-dedicated at some stage to the Crucifixion. The chapel was restored from a state of dereliction by Antonio Muñoz in 1927
