The stucco frieze decorated with trophies in low relief, by Peter Aurelj harmoniously divides the two storeys. The frieze display a medley of liturgical and sacred items depicted as if they had been washed up in a flood, which the architect described as "military-religious". The cornice above this is decorated with egg-and-dart moulding.
