The organ was restored and extended in 1884 by Attilio Priori and in 1924 the instrument was restored by Paolo Quaresima. In the second half of the twentieth century, the organ fell in disrepair, becoming unplayable. An important restoration work of the instrument began in 2012, by the organist Michel Formentelli.
