On the right hand triumphal arch pier has a rather poor anonymous 17th century fresco of the Crucifixion, showing Our Lady with SS John the Evangelist and Mary Magdalen, together with a Doctor of the Church holding a book and sporting a monk's tonsure (St Augustine?) and a holy bishop (St Thomas of Villanova?).
