Cesare Nebbia's frescoes of the dome of the apse depict Santa Susanna being carried into heaven, receiving the crown of glory from Jesus. flanked on either side by Angels with Musical Instruments. The stucco decoration was by Matteo Zoccolini, who was a Theatine priest. It involves garlands, fruit, scrollwork and little putti all gilded.
