In front of the apse stands an altar designed and erected by Filippo Barigioni in 1736, after the relics of the titular saints had been examined and re-enshrined. The altar is in peperino marbles and jasper with a round center field of porphyry containing a text about the relics of the martyrs. In each side there is a slab of Cipollino marble. The short sides of the altar are decorated with inlaid pieces of marble in black and gray and at the back there is a coat of arms for Cardinal Antonio Saverio Gentili, who was titular cardinalat that time.
