The second chapel on the left is dedicated to St Francis of Assisi. The altarpiece is documented as depicting The Ecstasy of St Francis is an oil on canvas by Liborio Mormorelli, late 18th century. In 2019 the altarpiece was covered by cloth, possibly being restored. On either side of the altar are statues of St. Barbara and St. Francis.
