The side walls have a pair of elliptical paintings over the doors. The painting on the left by José de Hermosilla y Sandoval portrays the Pope recognizing the Order founded by St. Felix and St. John de Matha, both in the act of worship. St. John, kneeling at his feet, is aided by the Pope to attire himself in the religious garments.
