The ornate Baroque altar has a frontal in verde antico with inlaid details in giallo antico. A pair of Ionic columns in the same marble supports a molded archivolt. Into the curve of this is tightly fitted a round-headed frame in the yellow marble again, which contains a painted wooden crucifix on a grey marble background. Above that is a symbol of the Trinity in a gilded glory with floral swags.
