The altar has an aedicule with a pair of Ionic columns in pavonazzetto marble supporting the separated ends of a triangular pediment that has its central section missing. In the void is a double curlicue device. The altarpiece that is an oil painting of the Crucifixion by Girolamo Siciolante de Sermoneta.
