The church's fabric is in red brick, which is mostly now visible. Off the right side of the church is the enormous dome of the Chapel of St Paul of the Cross. In front of the church, and stretching for its entire width, is the portico with an enclosed gallery above. To the left of the portico is attached a fragment of ruin with the ends of two arch archivolts, one above the other and with double curves in brick.
