The church has a central nave of six bays with side aisles, and then the sanctuary apse. The interior was transformed to the late Baroque style by the 1718 renovation. In the 1911 restoration of the interior the wall surfaces, formerly painted in pastel monochrome, were repainted to resemble polychrome marble revetting.
