The Crucifixion
In addition to Jesus on the cross, a number of martyrs are seen, including St Peter and St Paul, and at the foot of the cross some infants in swaddling clothes, as a reference to the Infanticide in Bethlehem. Above the fresco is the text "Rex. gloriose. martir." and under Christ "Tu vincis in martir."
