The Martyrs Apollonia, Popes Stephen and Sixtus, Sts Corinta and Venanzio
The eighteenth fresco. Here Apollonia, tied to a tree, has her teeth extracted (A), while Venanzio is pushed over a city wall (E) and Pope Sixtus is beheaded (C). It is Corinta in the middle (D) and Pope Stefan on the right (B). The text above the image is "Custodit. dominus. omnia. ossa eorum. Ps.XXXIII".
