The martyrdom of St Agnes and Emerentiana
The twenty-third fresco. Agnes is seen in the middle after she has been set on fire (A). Behind, Emerentiana is stoned (C), while Pope Caius is beheaded on the left side of the picture (B) and the Christians in Nicomedia are tortured and killed (D). Above the fresco is "Fortitudo. et. laus. mea. dominus Ps. CXVIII".
